In your own words, describe your experience and tell us what you love about your Gemesis diamonds or diamond jewelry:

There are three key things that I love about Gemesis and its diamonds:

  1. Gemesis produces beautiful diamonds which are as or more beautiful than mined. When I saw the diamond I could not believe the fire and the quality. This reaction was also experienced by the jewelers designing my ring and later by the valuer.
  2. The diamonds are conflict free. With Gemesis I can be 100% sure that I am not buying a ‘blood diamond’ or contributing to an industry that is not aligned with my values.
  3. The quality of the service. When I first looked at the website I could not find a diamond with the characteristics that I was looking for. With one request by email, I got an immediate response from Steve Lux, Gemesis CEO, with the perfect diamond for me. Being in Australia, I believed that shipping and payment would pose a challenge. It did not! Gemesis was able to deliver the diamond just in few days. I could have not asked for a more personalized and better service. Thank you.

My name is Filipe Camilo, 30 years old, born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. Since my college days I have been and will continue travelling the world for study, work, leisure and experiences. Professionally, I started as an aerospace engineer, moved to managing projects in the petroleum industry, and I am now a consultant for a fast growing procurement and supply chain consultancy. The next step in my life is to marry my beautiful fiancée (possessor of the beautiful Gemesis diamond) and travel the world for a 6 months vacation, which I am desperately looking forward to.

Never in my life I had considered to buy a diamond. This because, after extensive research, despite certifications and controls, I concluded that the Diamond trade industry directly contributes to conflict and innocent killing in non-developed nations. However, once I decided to ‘pop the question’, I wanted to do so with a diamond engagement ring.
