Tom Buffett, Co-Chairman

Mr. Buffett graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1957 and received a Master's Degree in Business Administration from CEI (Geneva) in 1963. From 1957 to 1974, he was engaged in several large engineering projects and pursued a variety of business interests in such diverse locations as Greenland, Africa, Spain and Switzerland. In 1974, he became Chairman and Managing Director (CEO) of Automated Security (Holdings), plc. (ASH), a U.K. based electronic security company which under his leadership grew from revenues of $500,000 in 1974 to more than $300 million in 1991. ASH had major operations in Europe and the United States and was publicly listed on both the London and New York stock exchanges.
